Kia Carens Clavis EV HTX E, HTX E [ER] Launched - Prices Start At ₹19.99 lakh
South Korean carmaker Kia has expanded the Carens Clavis EV lineup for the festive season with two new trims, HTX E and HTX E [ER], priced at ₹19.99 lakh and ₹21.99 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The new trims raise the variant count of the Kia Carens Clavis EV to six.
The Carens Clavis EV, Kia's first electric vehicle manufactured in India, has seen strong market traction since launch. According to Kia, customer feedback highlighted the need for variants that balance premium features and affordability, hence the launch of the new HTX E trims.

The Kia Carens Clavis EV HTX E variant uses a 42 kWh battery pack, while the HTX E [ER] gets the larger 51.4 kWh power pack. The Kia Carens Clavis EV is offered with a single electric motor pushing out either 99 kW or 126 kW and 255 Nm of torque.
The Kia Carens Clavis EV offers a range of 404 km with the 42 kWh pack and 490 km with the 51.4 kWh unit, along with fast charging from 10 to 80 per cent in 39 minutes.
Both versions gain several upgrades over the HTK+ trim, including a panoramic sunroof, LED lamps across all three rows, and power windows with auto up and down. Other highlights include an electrochromic rear-view mirror, wireless charging pad, and a two-tone steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment.
Inside, the Carens Clavis EV HTX E models offer seat-back folding tables, an air purifier with virus protection, leatherette upholstery, multi-colour mood lighting with footwell illumination and solar glass windows. A 26.62-inch dual panoramic display integrates infotainment and driver information, while 90 connected car functions add digital convenience through Kia Connect.
The Carens Clavis EV is equipped with 18 safety features, including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, and Hill Start Assist Control.

Following the expansion, the Carens Clavis EV lineup now includes HTK+, HTX E, HTX, HTX E [ER], HTX [ER], and HTX+ [ER]. The new trims are now available at all Kia showrooms across India.
