Kia Carens Clavis EV Bookings Start On July 22

Kia India is openin bookings for its inaugural 7-seater electric vehicle manufactured in India, the Carens Clavis EV from tomorrow (July 22, 2025). Interested buyers have the opportunity to reserve their Carens Clavis EV for a booking amount of Rs 25,000 on the Kia India website or at any of the Kia dealerships spread across the country.

The Carens Clavis EV, is the all electric version of the firm's MPV and it is the most affordable seven-seater EV with a starting price of Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and it features an eye-catching exterior and a roomy feature-packed interior.

The Kia Carens Clavis EV is offered with either a 42kWh battery providing a 404km range or a 51.4kWh battery allowing for a 490km range, as per ARAI certification. Its fast-charging ability allows a recharge from 10% to 80% in approximately 39 minutes using a 100kW DC charger. Alongside, the vehicle features electric motors generating 126kW and 99kW with 255Nm torque and incorporates a four-stage regenerative braking system managed by paddle shifters.

Equipped with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) offering 20 autonomous functionalities, the Carens Clavis EV prioritizes safety with its comprehensive set of 18 Hi-Safety features. These features are designed to protect passengers and provide a sense of security for every journey. Additionally, the car is outfitted with 90 connected car capabilities, including smartphone integration, smart navigation, and remote functions, enhancing both convenience and the driving experience.

The interior of this electric MPV showcases a 67.62 cm (26.62") Dual Panoramic Display Panel, merging infotainment and driver information in a state-of-the-art cockpit. It offers several comfort features such as Smart Infotainment-Temperature Control Swap Switch, 64-color ambient lighting, One-Touch Electric Tumble for ease of access to the second row, Boss Mode for added luxury, and a Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof that enhances the cabin atmosphere with natural light.

With four available variants - HTK Plus, HTX, HTX ER, and HTX Plus ER, and six color choices including Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Gray, Aurora Black Pearl, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, and Ivory Silver Matte, the Carens Clavis EV offers buyers ample customization options.
