Five models achieved all-time high sales for January: Forte/K4 increased by 29%, EV6 by 27%, Carnival by 22%, Telluride by 16%, and Sportage by 14%. Eric Watson, vice president of sales operations at Kia America, noted the continuous rise in SUV sales driven by the popularity of X-LINE models.

Watson stated, "Kia commenced the year with record sales characterized by double-digit growth and aims to reach new heights in the U.S. with our robust lineup of innovative ICE, hybrid, plug-in-hybrid and all-electric vehicles."
In addition to sales achievements, Kia America contributed $250,000 to the American Red Cross for California wildfire relief efforts. Two live concerts on January 30th raised an additional $100,000 for the Fire Aid Organization to help rebuild affected communities in Southern California.
The EV9 model was highlighted as one of WardsAuto's top ten impactful vehicles of 2024 due to its bold design and spacious interior. The all-new K4 was also a finalist for the 2025 North American Car of the Year Awards™, following previous wins by Kia's EV6 and EV9 utility vehicles.
