Among these events is the Greenwich Concours, where enthusiasts can witness the 750kg, 182bhp vehicle. Meanwhile, the UK will host the debut of the Full-Carbon 912c at Megaphonics in August. This model weighs 699kg and represents a significant milestone for KAMM.
The KAMM 912c stands out in the world of classic sports cars due to its lightweight design and high-performance engine. The car's meticulous redesign has won acclaim from drivers and collectors globally. The Semi-Carbon version (chassis 001) will be displayed at various US automotive events through HK Motorcars. These events include PorscheEast V in New York on May 17th and the Limerock Memorial Day Classic in Connecticut from May 23rd to May 26th.
UK and European fans can look forward to the world premiere of chassis 002 at Boxengasse, Bicester, on August 3rd. This Full-Carbon specification model marks a new chapter for KAMM's innovative engineering. Each KAMM 912c is crafted with precision in Budapest by experts with experience from Singer, Koenigsegg, and Porsche Motorsport.
The US tour offers a rare opportunity for fans and media to engage closely with KAMM's creations. "The KAMM 912c has had a lot of attention since launching in 2022," said Miki Kázmér, KAMM Founder. "Since launch we have been focused on developing our production facility, fulfilling customer orders and enhancing the car itself."
The KAMM 912c features an original bodywork restored by skilled craftspeople, reinforced with hidden Cro-Moly tubing for added strength. Lightweight windows made from Lexan polycarbonate enhance durability. The car also boasts carbon fibre wing mirrors inspired by the Talbot 3000.
Performance-wise, it includes a bespoke aerodynamic underfloor covering and front splitter. Customers can opt for a full bolt-in roll cage meeting FIA specifications. The engine is a modified air-cooled 616 four-cylinder producing 182hp at 6,500rpm.
Advanced Engineering
The gearbox is an upgraded original 901 five-speed dogleg offering precise shifts. It includes three gearing patterns: short, long, and touring. A ZF limited slip differential complements this setup along with a Porsche hydraulic racing clutch.
Electronics are tailored to motorsport standards with an electronic control unit offering daily driving or performance modes. Smiths gauges are customised to KAMM specifications while comfort features include electric air-conditioning and Morel speakers.
Suspension and Brakes
The suspension system utilises TracTive semi-active coilovers for both front and rear setups. An AP Racing braking system ensures optimal stopping power with ventilated discs and a hydraulic handbrake.
Wheel options include classic steel-look aluminium wheels or replica styles inspired by iconic designs like the three-piece R15 J7 wheels.
Miklós Kázmér founded KAMM in Budapest focusing exclusively on the classic Porsche 912 produced between 1965-1969. Known for its balance over typical models from that era, it offers an ideal base for restomod projects due to its simple lines and iconic engine.
KAMM's approach enhances existing greatness without compromise by restoring donor cars meticulously before transforming them into bespoke creations using carbon seamlessly blended into their structure ensuring flawless fitment throughout every build process undertaken within their facilities located across Europe today!
