MG Motor To Hike Prices In January 2026 - Year-End Deals Still At Play
JSW MG Motor India has announced that prices of its vehicles will increase across the model lineup from January 1, 2026, with a uniform hike of up to 2 per cent, a move the company says reflects broader input cost pressures and macroeconomic challenges facing the automotive industry.
The forthcoming price adjustment will affect all MG models sold in India, including popular SUVs such as the Hector and the Gloster, which are currently available with dealer discounts, making purchases before the end of the year financially advantageous for customers.
MG Motor India attributed the marginal hike to rising manufacturing and supply-chain costs, which it says cannot be fully absorbed without adjusting ex-showroom prices. This aligns with similar actions taken by other automakers in the industry as they respond to inflationary pressures.
