Jeep Gladiator Achieves First Place In Midsize Pickup Segment Of J.D. Power 2025 Initial Quality Study
The Jeep Gladiator has achieved a leading position in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS), securing first place in the Midsize Pickup segment. It excelled in seven out of ten key categories, such as driving experience and infotainment. This marks the second time in three years that the Gladiator has topped its segment.
In addition to the Gladiator's success, the Jeep Wrangler also performed admirably, securing second place in the Compact SUV category. The overall performance of these models contributed to a 13-point improvement for the Jeep brand, highlighting progress in addressing customer feedback.
Dodge made significant strides in the 2025 IQS, climbing 24 positions to rank seventh among automotive brands. This represents one of the largest improvements across all brands surveyed. Meanwhile, Chrysler reduced its problems per 100 vehicles by 13 points, showcasing enhanced owner satisfaction.
The Chrysler Pacifica also demonstrated strong performance by finishing second in the Minivan segment. This result underscores Chrysler's commitment to maintaining high levels of owner-reported satisfaction.
Yuri Rodrigues, Stellantis North America's senior vice president of quality, stated, "We’re building momentum and, more importantly, building trust." He emphasized that these results reflect their dedication to listening to customers and prioritizing them in decision-making processes.
J.D. Power conducted surveys with new-vehicle buyers about their initial 90 days of ownership. The study measured problems experienced per 100 vehicles to evaluate brand performance effectively.
