Jeep Brand Introduces Exclusive 2025 Gladiator Big Bear Edition For California Customers
The Jeep brand has unveiled the 2025 Jeep Gladiator Big Bear Edition, a model exclusively available to California residents. This special edition is designed to celebrate the state's unique landscapes, offering a blend of popular features and Jeep's signature open-air experience. "Our 2025 Jeep Gladiator Big Bear Edition brings Californians their own unique take on the Gladiator, with a pickup truck that delivers popular content as standard and at a great value, plus signature Jeep capability and class-exclusive open-air freedom," said Bob Broderdorf, chief executive officer, Jeep brand.
Named after Southern California's Big Bear Lake and the grizzly bear on the state flag, this edition builds on the Gladiator Sport S. It includes exterior upgrades and distinctive Big Bear badging on the hood and tailgate. The vehicle is equipped with the Jeep Command-Trac 4x4 system featuring a two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio for enhanced off-road performance.
The 2025 Gladiator Big Bear Edition comes with several standard features. These include 17-inch black-painted aluminum wheels paired with 32-inch mud-terrain tires, steel rock rails, and a body-color hardtop. The vehicle also offers unique open-air options like removable roof panels, doors, and a fold-down windshield for an unparalleled driving experience.
Inside, the Gladiator boasts black McKinley-trimmed leather seats that are heated along with the steering wheel. Keyless entry and power-heated mirrors add convenience. Safety features include first- and second-row side-curtain airbags and adaptive cruise control. A 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen enhances connectivity with remote start capabilities and a universal garage door opener.
The new Gladiator model enhances digital connectivity through various services. Buyers receive three months of Jeep Connect services, with options for extended access to Safety and Security Packages for up to ten years. The Vehicle Performance Package is available for five years. Over-the-air updates ensure software remains current.
The Uconnect 5 system includes AppMarket, which serves as an interface for connected features such as adventure apps like Geocaching and The Dyrt, along with games like Sudoku. Users can manage accounts directly from the vehicle’s screen to purchase services like Wi-Fi hotspots or SiriusXM Radio.
Limited Availability and Pricing
This edition is limited to just 5,000 units in California dealerships at a starting price of $46,090 (excluding destination fees). Buyers can choose from several exterior colours including ‘41’, black, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Hydro Blue, Firecracker Red, and Anvil.
Community Support Initiatives
Beyond launching this exclusive model for Californians, Stellantis North America has contributed $500,000 to aid recovery efforts following the LA fires through United Way of Greater Los Angeles Wildfire Response. Employee-driven relief efforts at Auburn Hills in Michigan have also been organized to collect food and essential items.
