James Kirkham From Race Service To Feature Unimog At Monterey Motorsports Festival
James Kirkham, co-founder of Donut Media and Race Service, will attend the Monterey Motorsports Festival on August 16. He will sign autographs and showcase the Unimog off-road transporter. The festival, located at the 22-acre Monterey Fairgrounds, is set to feature a variety of vehicles and entertainment from 5-11 PM.
The festival promises an exciting lineup with Mad Mike's MADMAC P1 and the US debut of the Giugiaro-designed Peralta S. James Kirkham will also present the Race Service AMG GT3 Raw Spec program. This initiative highlights the raw material of the AMG GT3, blending racing with art and culture.
The event will feature a diverse range of vehicles, including hypercars, supercars, American muscle cars, race cars, overland vehicles, JDM models, European cars, and modern EVs. Visitors can enjoy live music headlined by DJ Dillon Francis and performances by four bands throughout the evening.
Race Service's Mercedes Unimog will be a key attraction at the festival. Known for its heavy-duty capabilities in Bavarian forests, this vehicle is rarely seen in North America. It can lift race cars onto its cargo bed using a built-in crane.
Tickets for the festival are priced at $129 for general admission. Children under 12 enter free, while juniors aged 13-17 can purchase tickets for $69. The Vino & Vibes option costs $229 and includes access to top wineries and exclusive views.
James Kirkham's involvement in motorsports extends beyond showcasing vehicles. As Chief Brand Officer for RS, he has been instrumental in creating engaging video content that captivates fans and demystifies Formula 1 racing.
