INFINITI USA Reports Second Quarter 2025 Sales With Notable Growth In QX80 And QX60 Models

INFINITI USA reported a decline in vehicle deliveries for the second quarter of 2025, with 12,327 units sold, marking a 12.7% drop compared to the same period in 2024. Year-to-date sales reached 25,492 vehicles, reflecting a 9% decrease from the previous year. This reduction is attributed to limited availability of QX50 and QX55 models due to temporary production changes.

The QX80 model showed significant growth, with second-quarter sales increasing by 28% year over year and June sales rising by 53.7%. With 6,936 units sold in the first half of the year, it achieved its best first-half performance ever. The introduction of the new QX80 SPORT later this year is expected to further boost its success.

INFINITI USA Second Quarter Sales Report

The QX60 continued to be INFINITI's top-selling model in the second quarter, accounting for nearly 60% of total sales and experiencing a 3.5% increase compared to last year. The redesigned 2026 QX60 has started arriving at retailers nationwide, showcasing bold new styling and updated features that align with the brand's design direction and customer-focused approach.

Despite challenging market conditions, Tiago Castro, vice president of INFINITI Americas, expressed optimism about the brand's resilience. "While overall market conditions remain challenging, the strong performance of the all-new QX80 and steady demand for QX60 reflect the resilience of our portfolio," he stated. He also highlighted their commitment to enhancing current offerings and accelerating future developments.

In terms of specific model performance, the Q50 saw a sharp decline with only 94 units sold in the second quarter compared to 1,442 in the same period last year—a decrease of 93.5%. Similarly, no Q60 models were sold during this period as opposed to 11 units last year.

Production Adjustments Impact

The production adjustments affected other models as well; QX50 sales dropped by 41.9%, while QX55 experienced a decrease of 30%. However, CUV/SUV sales remained relatively stable with a slight decline of only 3.4% for the quarter.
