Tata Motors MD and CEO (Passenger Vehicles & EV Division), Shailesh Chandra, said: "The Indian Women's Cricket Team has made the entire nation proud with their remarkable win. This is our salute to their spirit and the pride they have brought to the nation."

The gesture also marks the Sierra's return after 22 years. The all-new Sierra will be a 5-door SUV built on the O-MEGA ARC architecture, featuring multiple powertrain options and a premium interior. Tata Motors will deliver the first batch directly to the players before retail deliveries begin.

Each unit is expected to feature limited-edition touches, including special badging, unique plaques, and commemorative design highlights to identify the victory at the Women's World Cup. The company has not confirmed customisation details but says the cars will represent the "spirit of pride and achievement."

Interior teasers released by Tata have revealed a triple-screen dashboard layout-a driver display, central infotainment screen, and co-driver entertainment screen. Other confirmed features include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, Level 2 ADAS, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, and a premium audio system.

Under the bonnet, the Sierra is expected to offer 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, producing approximately 170 PS/280 Nm and 118 PS/260 Nm respectively. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. An EV version is also under evaluation.

Expected to be priced from ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2025 Tata Sierra will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Tata Motors plans to position the Sierra as its premium SUV with both ICE and EV variants available.
