Indian Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal Buys 1.1 Crore BMW Z4 Convertible
Yuzvendra Chahal, one of the most prominent names in the Indian cricket team, has added another premium car to his collection with the purchase of a BMW Z4 Convertible. The Rajasthan Royals' star leg-spinner, already a highly successful international cricketer, owns an impressive lineup of luxury cars, including Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, and Rolls-Royce models.
Chahal shared a video on his social media capturing the memorable moment of him taking delivery of the Thundernight Metallic coloured Z4 convertible. His parents were also present to share the joy during the car purchase, making the occasion even more special. The video also showed his parents unveiling the car and both taking pictures alongside Chahal.
Yuzi posted the video captioning, "Brought my new car home with the two people who made every dream possible. Watching my parents witness and relish this milestone is the real luxury." In another pic, Chahal is seen driving the BMW with fully blacked-out interiors, highlighting the sporty yet elegant appeal of the Z4. Chahal has opted for the top-end variant of the Z4 with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and multiple driving modes.

The Convertible is a rare model, and BMW is expected to phase it out by the end of 2026, making it a last-generation collectable for enthusiasts. Prices for the Z4 start at around 87.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
Under the hood, the BMW Z4 is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder turbo petrol engine, producing 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission or a 6 Speed manual and can accelerate from 0 to100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
The interior showcases BMW's premium craftsmanship, featuring a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, dual-zone climate control, premium leather upholstery, BMW Live Cockpit, HUD display, BMW iDrive with touch controller, wireless Apple CarPlay, 3D navigation, cruise control, and adaptive headlamps.
This latest purchase proves his love goes beyond the cricket field, reflecting his deep passion for automobiles as well. The cricketer is expected to return to action at IPL 2026, representing the Rajasthan Royals.
