Maruti Suzuki
India's largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki, leads the chart with an overall sales of 2,20,984 units last month. This is their highest ever monthly sales in recent years. Maruti Suzuki's strong portfolio in the small segment has helped it achieve massive sales growth in October 2025.
Hyundai

South Korean auto maker, Hyundai, has reported total sales of 69,894 units in October 2025. Hyundai's best-selling cars were the Creta and Venue, which sold 30,119 units, reinstating their dominance in the SUV segment.
Tata Motors
In October 2025, Tata Motors sold 61,134 units, a 27% YOY growth. Tata's SUVs, like the Punch, Nexon, Harrier, and Safari, sold 47,000 units overall last month. Tata also posted record-breaking EV sales of 9,286 units.
Mahindra & Mahindra
Mahindra has reported total sales of 1.2 lakh units, a 26% YOY growth in October 2025. A total of 71,624 units were sold domestically, with sales growing by up to 31%, thanks to their strong SUV portfolio.
KIA India

Hyundai's South Korean sibling, Kia, also achieved record-breaking sales in October 2025. KIA sold 29,556 units in OCT 25, posting 30% YOY growth. Their subcompact car Sonet led with 12,745 units, and their compact SUV Seltos sold 7,130 units.
Toyota Kirloskar
Japanese auto maker Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold a total of 40,257 units in the indian market last October. Toyota is the leader in the premium SUV and MPV segments with the Fortuner and Innova. They also posted a strong sales growth in the budget car segment, which contains the Taisor, Glanza, and HyRyder.
Skoda
Skoda has achieved a major milestone in India with overall sales of 61,607 units between January and October. This is their best-ever sales record in India, and the previous was in 2022, where they achieved a total sales of 53,721 units for the same period. As Skoda celebrates its 25th anniversary in India, October 2025 proved to be its best-ever sales achievement with 8,252 units. Thanks to their sub-4 m SUV Kylaq, which has sold more than 40,000 units since launch.
MG Motors
JSW-owned MG Motors India has reportedly sold 6,387 units in October 2025. Though their YOY sales dropped to 9%, they gained strong growth of up to 20% in the last two months.
