Hyundai Verna SX+ Variant Highlights & Pricing Details
The Hyundai Verna has introduced a new SX+ variant, priced at Rs 13.79 lakh for the manual version and Rs 15.04 lakh for the IVT, both ex-showroom. This variant sits above the SX and incorporates several features from the top-spec SX(O), enhancing its market appeal. Additionally, Hyundai India offers a wired-to-wireless adapter for select models, including the Verna, enabling wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Hyundai Verna SX+ Features
The Verna SX+ boasts LED headlights, front parking sensors, 16-inch alloy wheels, and a rear spoiler. It also includes an 8-speaker Bose sound system, heated and ventilated front seats, and leatherette seat upholstery borrowed from the top-spec SX(O) variant. Safety features include six airbags (standard across all Hyundai models), ABS with EBD, ESC, TPMS, and a rear parking camera.
Hyundai's wireless adapter is priced at Rs 4,500 and is compatible with the SX(O), SX Turbo, and SX(O) Turbo variants of the Verna that feature a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The base Verna E trim lacks a touchscreen altogether. However, S, SX, SX+, and S(O) Turbo variants with an 8-inch unit already support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Verna SX+ is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 115hp and 143.8Nm of torque through either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed IVT gearbox option.

The Hyundai Verna features diverse powertrain options in India and the ARAI cycle rates the fuel efficiency of the Verna 1.5 MPI IVT at 19.6km/l while the manual version achieves 18.6km/l.
