Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid And Kona Recognised In PARENTS 2025 Best Family Cars Awards For Safety And Efficiency
Hyundai's Santa Fe Hybrid and Kona SUV have been recognised in the 2025 PARENTS Best Family Cars Awards. The Santa Fe Hybrid earned the title of Best Hybrid SUV, while the Kona was named Best Compact SUV. These awards highlight vehicles that excel in safety, practicality, and efficiency, among other criteria.
Ricky Lao, director of product planning at Hyundai Motor North America, expressed satisfaction with the recognition from PARENTS. "At Hyundai, family buyers are an important target consumer across our entire lineup," he stated. Both the Santa Fe and Kona SUVs come equipped with standard driver-assist systems like Forward Collision Avoidance (FCA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Driver Attention Warning (DAW).
The awards involved a thorough evaluation process where nearly 200 models were reviewed by top family car experts. These experts assessed both new and existing models to identify the best options for families. The selected vehicles stood out for their exceptional value, safety features, and fuel efficiency.
Hyundai Motor America offers a diverse range of cars, SUVs, and electrified vehicles to U.S. consumers. This aligns with Hyundai Motor Company's Progress for Humanity vision. The company has significant operations in the U.S., including its North American headquarters in California and an assembly plant in Alabama.
