Hyundai Hosts The Ninth Annual National Salute To America's Heroes In Miami Beach This Memorial Day Weekend
The National Salute to America’s Heroes returns to Miami Beach on May 24-25, 2025. This event, featuring the Hyundai Air & Sea Show, honours U.S. military personnel and first responders. Now in its ninth year, it remains a key celebration during Memorial Day weekend. The event is free and offers interactive exhibits and entertainment for all ages.
Hyundai continues its commitment to the military community by donating $50,000 to Folds of Honor. This contribution supports scholarships for families of fallen and disabled service members. Hyundai's dedication to veterans has earned them national recognition as a Military Friendly Employer.
The Hyundai Air & Sea Show, known as "The Greatest Show Above the Earth," showcases thrilling demonstrations on land, sea, and air. It takes place along Miami Beach from 1st to 10th Street and 14th to 15th Street. The Florida Power & Light Patriot Display Village offers an immersive experience with military equipment displays.
Visitors can explore an M1 Abrams tank, an F-16 fighter jet, and more at the display village. The Hyundai Hangar features the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 9 models alongside a hydration station and a Letters to Heroes writing station. Guests are encouraged to send letters to U.S. troops.
The Monster Energy Action Zone provides exciting motocross stunt shows by Keith Sayer’s FMX Demonstration Team. Performances occur several times daily, offering thrilling acrobatics for spectators. The Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Kids Zone presents aviation-themed obstacle courses and interactive activities for younger guests.
For food lovers, the Mission BBQ Food Court offers culinary favourites like Bolay throughout the day. Visitors can also see Hyundai's specially wrapped vehicles honouring military branches and first responders across the area.
Hyundai's Support for Veterans
Hyundai supports veterans through its Stars and Stripes employee resource group and Veteran Employment Transition program. This initiative recruits veterans for positions at Hyundai dealerships, offering free access to factory training centres across the U.S., both online and in-person.
Hyundai provides discounts for eligible active duty, reservist/National Guard veteran, and retired U.S. military personnel through its special military program. A $500 incentive is available on all vehicles for military personnel and first responders.

Event Details
The event includes a Memorial Day Flag Remembrance Garden presented by GovX, honouring fallen South Florida warriors who sacrificed their lives for freedom. The Hyundai Air & Sea Show will be livestreamed starting at noon on May 24-25 via USASalute.com.
