Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama Launches $14 Million Care Center To Support Team Member Wellness
Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) has unveiled a new Care Center, a $14 million investment aimed at improving the health and well-being of its workforce. Situated on the southwest corner of the general assembly building, this facility is a testament to HMMA's dedication to its 4,000 team members. The center includes a medical clinic, physical therapy services, an Emergency Response Team, a fitness center, and a team wear store.
The Care Center is designed to provide comprehensive health and wellness services conveniently located for employees. It offers medical examinations, injury treatments, and various health services. Physical therapy is available for those needing rehabilitation. An Emergency Response Team is ready to handle any medical emergencies on campus.
Chris Susock, HMMA's President and CEO, expressed pride in the new facility: "We are incredibly proud to unveil this state-of-the-art Care Center. Our team members are the heart of this company, and this facility is an investment in keeping that heart healthy." The center aims to support HMMA’s diverse workforce by providing resources for wellness, fitness, and emergency response.
The fitness center within the Care Center promotes an active lifestyle among employees with upgraded facilities. Additionally, the team wear store ensures easy access to work apparel for all team members. This initiative aligns with HMMA’s ongoing efforts to create a supportive environment as it approaches its 20th anniversary in May.
