Hyundai Motor Group Introduces Pleos 25 Conference To Advance Software Development For Vehicles
Hyundai Motor Group is set to introduce its new software brand, ‘Pleos’, at the upcoming developer conference, ‘Pleos 25’. This event will take place at COEX in Seoul on Friday, March 28. The conference aims to advance the development of software-defined vehicles (SDVs) and expand the app ecosystem for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis cars.
The ‘Pleos 25’ conference will feature a range of activities designed to engage developers. Attendees will have the chance to explore the next-generation infotainment app development environment. The event will also offer hands-on experience programs for app development, providing practical insights into creating vehicle apps using software development kits (SDKs).

During the conference, Hyundai Motor Group plans to present key technologies related to SDVs, artificial intelligence (AI), and autonomous driving. These presentations aim to highlight collaboration opportunities with business partners and developers. The Group's commitment to building a comprehensive mobility ecosystem will be reinforced through these initiatives.
The introduction of ‘Pleos’ represents Hyundai’s vision for smart and sustainable mobility solutions. This new software brand aims to integrate data from various movements and devices seamlessly. By doing so, it seeks to create new opportunities in self-managed, fully autonomous transportation infrastructure.
Registration for ‘Pleos 25’ is currently open, offering exclusive developer programs and recruitment consultations for early registrants. Developers who pre-register will gain access to unique hands-on experiences in vehicle app development using SDKs. Additionally, one-on-one recruitment consultations will be available exclusively for those who register in advance.
An exhibition space at the event will showcase partnership cases for mobility solutions based on vehicle data and services. This setup aims to demonstrate how collaboration can drive innovation in mobility solutions.
New Development Platform Unveiling
A significant highlight of ‘Pleos 25’ will be the unveiling of a new open platform that provides a development environment inclusive of SDKs and APIs for developers. This platform is designed to facilitate third-party app development in next-generation infotainment systems.
The Group’s developers are set to share their latest updates through technical sessions focusing on SDV, AI, and autonomous driving themes. These sessions aim to provide participants with insights into the vehicle app market's development environment.
