Hyundai Motor America Achieves Record-Breaking Sales In April 2025 With Strong Demand For Electrified Vehicles

Hyundai Motor America achieved record-breaking sales in April 2025, with a total of 81,503 units sold. This marked a 19% increase compared to April 2024. It was the seventh consecutive month of record sales for the company. Models like Elantra, Santa Fe, Sonata, Tucson, and Palisade set new sales records for April.

Electrified vehicle sales rose by 25% in April, with hybrid models seeing a significant 46% increase. Internal combustion engine vehicles also experienced a growth of 17%. Randy Parker, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor North America, stated, "April total sales continued its upward trajectory with a 25% year-over-year increase in electrified vehicle sales, led by strong demand for the Tucson HEV."

Hyundai Reports Record Sales in April 2025

In response to market dynamics and potential tariff impacts, Hyundai launched the Customer Assurance program. This initiative aims to maintain the current Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) and support American consumers. The program underscores Hyundai's commitment to affordability.

The all-new 2026 Hyundai Palisade SUV made its debut at the New York International Auto Show. This new-generation model builds on the success of its predecessor, which saw its best-ever sales year in 2024 with a 23% increase. The Palisade XRT PRO was also introduced at the show, ready for family adventures.
