Hyundai Launches New Variants & Upgrades For Verna, Venue & Grand i10 Nios
South Korean carmaker Hyundai has launched new variants for the Verna, Venue and Grand i10 Nios. Hyundai has also upgraded a few existing versions of the three cars.
The entry-level car in Hyundai's India lineup, the Grand i10 hatchback is now offered with a new 1.2 l Kappa petrol Sports (O) variant which is offered with both manual and AMT gearbox options. The manual Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is priced at Rs 7,72,300 while the AMT variant is priced at Rs 8,29,100.
The new Sports (O) variant of the Grand i10 Nios gets features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay along with a fully automatic climate control setup and a Smart Key with Push Button Start/Stop. External upgrades come in the form of R15 diamond-cut alloy wheels and exterior door handles finished in chrome.
Hyundai has also upgraded the Corporate variant of the Grand i10 Nios by fitting both manual and AMT versions with projector headlamps. The Grand i10 Corporate (manual) is priced at Rs 7,09,100 while the AMT costs Rs 7,72,300.
The Hyundai Venue compact SUV has also gained a new Kappa 1.2 l MPi Petrol SX Executive MT that is priced at Rs 10,79,300 and comes with extra features like a smart electric sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with a fully automatic climate control system and a Smart Key with push button Start/Stop.
Hyundai has also upgraded other variants of the Venue lineup. The Kappa 1.2 l MPi Petrol S MT and S+ MT variants now include a rear camera and wireless charger and are priced at Rs 9,28,000 and 9,53,000 respectively.
The Venue Kappa 1.2 l MPi Petrol S(O) MT variant now features a smart key with push button start/stop with Knight edition also adds a wireless charger to the mix. The Venue Kappa 1.2 l MPi Petrol S(O) MT is priced at Rs 9,99,900 while the Knight Edition costs Rs 10,34,500.
The Venue Kappa 1.2 l MPi Petrol S(O)+ Adventure MT variant adds both the smart key with push button start/stop and the wireless charger and is priced at Rs 10,36,700.
Finally, the Verna sedan has gained two new variants - the 1.5 l Turbo GDi petrol S(O) DCT and the 1.5 l MPi petrol S IVT. The new 1.5 l MPi petrol S IVT Verna variant features Hyundai's iVT gearbox with paddle shifter and its manual counterpart has gained an electric sunroof.
The 1.5 l Turbo GDi petrol S(O) DCT variant of the Verna sports an electric sunroof, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, fully automatic climate control, wireless smartphone charger and a rear camera with dynamic guidelines. The new turbo petrol Verna variant rides on R16 Black alloy wheels, and also features red front brake calipers.
The new and upgraded Verna models start at Rs 12,37,400 for the Verna 1.5 l MPi Petrol S MT while the IVT trim level is priced at Rs 13,62,400. The new Verna 1.5 l Turbo GDi Petrol S(O) DCT variant is priced at Rs 15,26,900.
