Hyundai Launches New Customer Rewards Program To Enhance Ownership Experience

Hyundai Motor America has introduced Hyundai Rewards, a new program aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction. This initiative provides both new and existing Hyundai owners with discounts on vehicle purchases and Bluelink services. Joining the program is free through the MyHyundai account, and rewards can be earned by engaging in various activities like scheduled maintenance or using Bluelink features.

The rewards program is structured into three tiers: silver, gold, and blue, with blue being the highest level. Upon joining, members start at the silver tier. The program is designed to be interactive and rewarding for customers who are already engaged with Hyundai. Michel Poirier, vice president of aftersales and customer experience at Hyundai Motor America, stated, "With the all-new Hyundai Rewards program, we are looking to enhance the Hyundai ownership experience for our loyal customers."

Hyundai Introduces New Rewards Program for Owners

Unlike other automotive rewards programs that rely on points or credit checks, Hyundai Rewards is straightforward. Owners earn rewards by participating in activities they typically do as part of their vehicle ownership. These activities include purchasing or leasing a new or certified pre-owned Hyundai vehicle, completing scheduled maintenance, and signing up for Bluelink paid subscriptions.

The reward options vary across tiers. For instance, purchasing an internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle offers a $250 discount at the silver tier and $300 at the gold tier. Electric vehicle buyers receive $250 off at silver, $300 at gold, and $400 at blue. Additionally, Bluelink Connected Care and Remote services offer 50% off at silver and gold tiers and 60% off at the blue tier.

Hyundai's approach focuses on rewarding actions that customers are already taking rather than introducing complex systems. Members advance to higher reward tiers by completing specific activities within a calendar year. This simplicity ensures that customers can easily benefit from their regular interactions with the brand without additional effort.
