The IONIQ 5 N stands out with its impressive power, delivering up to 641 horsepower when the N Grin Boost mode is activated. Ricky Lao, director of product planning at Hyundai Motor North America, expressed gratitude for receiving this award from MAMA.

Robert Duffer, MAMA President, praised the IONIQ 5 N for proving that electric sports cars can be as exciting and affordable as traditional gas-powered vehicles. He noted that the car's unique blend of excitement and accessibility captivated their members both on and off the track at Road America.
Founded in 1991, MAMA consists of approximately 240 automotive journalists and industry professionals from about 25 states and Washington D.C. Although based in Chicago, it welcomes members nationwide. The organisation aims to provide a platform for discussing newsworthy individuals, current issues, and new products within the automotive sector.
Hyundai Motor America offers a diverse range of technology-rich cars, SUVs, and electrified vehicles to U.S. consumers. It supports Hyundai Motor Company's vision of Progress for Humanity through significant operations in the U.S., including its North American headquarters in California and manufacturing facilities in Alabama and Georgia.
