Hyundai I20 N Line Price Increased: Key Details You Should Know
Hyundai has recently increased the prices of several models, including the i20 N Line. This performance-oriented version of their premium hatchback now costs Rs. 4,000 more for select variants. However, the entry-level N6 MT and N6 MT dual-tone variants remain unaffected by this price hike.
The Hyundai i20 N Line is available at a price range between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 12.56 lakh (ex-showroom). It features a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT gearbox. Customers have the option to choose from seven colours and two variants.
Performance Comparison: Tata Altroz Racer Vs Hyundai i20 N Line
The Tata Altroz Racer has entered the Indian market as a high-performance variant of the premium hatchback segment. It is priced starting at Rs 9.50 lakh and offers three colour options across three different variants.
Both the Tata Altroz Racer and Hyundai i20 N Line offer similar safety features, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, headrests for middle-rear passengers, and highline TPMS. These features ensure a safe driving experience for both models.
Under the hood, the Altroz Racer is equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine derived from the Nexon, delivering 118bhp and 170Nm of torque. On the other hand, the i20 N Line's 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces 118bhp and 172Nm of torque.
Both vehicles come standard with a six-speed manual transmission. However, Hyundai offers an additional seven-speed DCT option for the i20 N Line, providing more flexibility for drivers who prefer automatic gear shifting.
It is anticipated that Tata might introduce a seven-speed DCT for the Altroz Racer in future updates since this configuration is already available in the Nexon model lineup.
