Hyundai Expands Complimentary ChargePoint Home Charger Offer To Eligible Buyers Of 2025 IONIQ Models
Hyundai has expanded its offer of complimentary home chargers and charging credits to include the 2025 IONIQ 6, 2024 IONIQ 6, and 2024 IONIQ 5 models. Customers purchasing or leasing these models from March 1, 2025, can choose between a ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger or a $400 charging credit. This initiative aims to simplify the transition to electric vehicles by enhancing home charging accessibility.
Eligible buyers have a choice between two offers: a complimentary ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV Charger or a $400 charging credit. To receive the charger, customers must arrange for installation through Hyundai Home Marketplace. The $400 credit can be used across multiple networks via the ChargePoint app, including EVgo and Shell Recharge.
The Hyundai Home Marketplace is designed as a comprehensive platform for EV owners. It facilitates the delivery and installation of the Level 2 EV charger. Additionally, it offers information on solar panels and home energy storage systems. This service aims to help customers reduce energy costs and enhance home resilience.
Customers opting for the home charger must create a profile on Hyundai Home Marketplace. They need to enter vehicle details and select their preferred option within 60 days of purchase or lease inception. After selection, they will receive an email with a coupon code from Electrum within five business days.
Those choosing the $400 ChargePoint credit should visit Hyundai Home Marketplace to redeem it. After creating a profile and entering vehicle specifics, they will receive instructions on using the credit via ChargePoint’s website or app. The coupon code is emailed within five business days.
The ChargePoint network provides access to over 87,000 chargers nationwide. Customers can use their credit across various networks using the ChargePoint app. The app helps locate stations and initiate charging sessions seamlessly.
Installation Process
For those selecting the home charger option, hardwired installation is necessary through Hyundai Home’s network of service providers. Installation costs are not covered by this offer. Customers have up to 120 days from purchase or lease date to complete installation.
Hyundai has partnered with Electrum for this initiative, leveraging their expertise in home energy solutions. Electrum’s Energy Advisors assist customers throughout the process, ensuring a smooth transition to electric mobility.

The offer is valid until December 31, 2025, for eligible vehicles purchased or leased within specified dates. Customers must redeem their chosen offer within set timeframes after purchase or lease inception.
