Hyundai Launches Electric Grant Offering Up To £3,750 Off Its EV Range In The UK
Hyundai UK has introduced the Hyundai Electric Grant, offering immediate savings on its electric vehicles. Customers can enjoy a £3,750 discount on the 2025 World EV of the Year, INSTER, and £1,500 off other award-winning models like KONA Electric and IONIQ 5. This initiative aims to make electric mobility more accessible by providing financial clarity and support.
The grant is available across Hyundai UK's national Retailer network and applies to all retail purchases. Hyundai's diverse electric vehicle lineup includes the compact INSTER and the flagship IONIQ 9 SUV. The company also offers 24-hour test drives for potential buyers to experience how an EV fits into their lifestyle.

Hyundai's commitment to electric mobility aligns with its goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2045. The grant supports this vision by encouraging more customers to switch to electric vehicles. Ashley Andrew, President of Hyundai and Genesis UK, emphasised the importance of providing clarity, choice, and value in the evolving EV landscape.
"As the electric vehicle landscape continues to evolve, it is important that customers have complete clarity, choice and compelling value when making the switch to electric," said Andrew. "By providing immediate financial support through our grant programme, we're ensuring that more customers can experience the significant long-term savings that come with electric driving."
The Hyundai Electric Grant covers a range of models including the INSTER, IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, IONIQ 5 N, and KONA Electric. These models are known for their performance and innovation. The newly launched IONIQ 9 offers a three-row seating arrangement with advanced technology features.
Until August 31st, an additional £500 discount is available on INSTER and KONA Electric as part of Hyundai’s Electrifying Summer Event. This further enhances the appeal of Hyundai's electric offerings during this promotional period.
