Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition Makes Canadian Debut With Track-Inspired Performance For Enthusiasts
The Elantra N TCR Edition, inspired by motorsports, is set to arrive in Canada. This high-performance vehicle features a Carbon Swan Neck Spoiler, lightweight 19-inch N TCR forged wheels, and an advanced N Performance Brake System. Canadian buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The model will be available for order only, with prices starting at $47,599 CAD for the manual version.
Hyundai Auto Canada has announced the Canadian specifications for the 2026 Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition. This model reflects Hyundai Motorsport's success in the Touring Car Racing (TCR) World Tour. It combines track-inspired performance with unique design elements, offering an exceptional driving experience for enthusiasts.
The Elantra N TCR Edition is powered by a robust 2.0L turbocharged engine. It delivers 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque, with up to 286 horsepower available on DCT models using N Grin Shift (NGS). Customers can opt for either an 8-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission with downshift rev-matching.
This edition includes several enhancements inspired by Hyundai’s championship-winning TCR race cars. These include a Carbon Swan Neck Spoiler, "TCR Edition" trunk emblem, and N Performance Alcantara Steering Wheel with a 12 o’clock marker. The interior features Alcantara materials on various components like the parking brake lever and gear knob.
The Elantra N TCR Edition incorporates technologies from the existing Elantra N model. These include drive mode selection with N/Custom modes, an electronic limited slip differential, and electronically controlled suspension for improved cornering capabilities.
Canadian customers can choose from four exterior colours: Abyss Black, Atlas White, Cyber Grey, and Performance Blue. The pricing for the DCT version is set at $49,199 CAD.
Celebrating Hyundai's N Brand
To celebrate both the launch of this edition and the 10th anniversary of Hyundai’s global N Brand, Hyundai Canada will host an event in August at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Ontario. This event will bring together ten passionate N owners from across Canada's provinces to celebrate their shared enthusiasm.

Previous Celebrations
This upcoming event follows a previous celebration held in September 2024 at Hyundai Canada's headquarters. Over one hundred N owners gathered to share their passion and showcase their vehicles while experiencing the all-electric IONIQ 5 N.
