Hyundai Creta Electric To Feature V2L & Other Advanced Features
Hyundai is gearing up to launch the all-electric Creta on January 17. This new model will compete with the Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and MG ZS EV. The Korean automaker has been gradually revealing details about the vehicle, including its interior design, power specifications for different battery options, and additional features.
The Creta Electric largely mirrors its petrol and diesel siblings in terms of interior design. It boasts a dashboard with twin 10.25-inch screens for both infotainment and instrumentation. Key features include dual-zone climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, and Level 2 ADAS suite.

Hyundai Creta Electric Features
While many features are shared with the standard Creta, the electric version introduces a new steering wheel and centre console. The shift-by-wire system is operated via a control stalk on the right side of the steering column. The centre console now includes cup holders, buttons for electronic parking brake and auto-hold function, as well as drive modes.
The top-spec Excellence variant of the Creta Electric offers several advanced features. These include in-car payment for charging, a digital key accessible via smartphone, single-pedal driving capability, vehicle-to-load (V2L) charging capabilities with a dedicated plug below the rear bench, voice command functionality for infotainment, and Hyundai's Bluelink connectivity technology.

Power Specifications
The Creta Electric will be available with two battery pack options: a 42kWh battery powering a 135hp motor and a 51.4kWh battery powering a 171hp motor. Hyundai claims that the Long Range version with the larger battery can accelerate from 0-100kph in just 7.9 seconds.
Charging options include an 11kW AC charger that can fully charge the larger battery from 10-100 percent in four hours. A DC fast charger can charge it from 10-80 percent in approximately 58 minutes. Remote charging functions like start/stop and scheduling are accessible through the myHyundai app.

Safety Features
The Creta Electric comes equipped with a comprehensive safety kit featuring Level 2 ADAS suite components such as lane keep assist, forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, rear disc brakes, six airbags, hill-start and descent assist, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX anchors for child seats, rain-sensing wipers, front parking sensors and 360-degree cameras.
Hyundai has also introduced "Active Air Flaps" in this model to enhance aerodynamic efficiency while cooling specific parts of the car. These flaps contribute to improved performance by reducing drag during motion.
The Creta Electric represents Hyundai's commitment to expanding its electric vehicle lineup while maintaining high standards of safety and performance. With its competitive features and specifications tailored for Indian consumers' needs within this segment's growing market demand landscape – it promises significant appeal among potential buyers seeking eco-friendly alternatives without compromising on quality or innovation-driven experiences offered by traditional combustion engine counterparts.
