Hyundai Concept THREE Debuts At Munich Motor Show - Previews Compact Ioniq 3 EV
The Hyundai Concept THREE has made its global debut at the Munich Motor Show 2025. The new Hyundai Concept THREE previews a compact Ioniq EV hatchback that will be sold first in Europe, where it will rival the likes of the Volkswagen ID.3 and Renault Mégane E-Tech.
The Concept THREE hatchback measures 4,287 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width, and 1,428 mm in height, with a 2,722 mm wheelbase and will be the smallest Ioniq-branded EV from Hyundai when it hits production as the Ioniq 3.

Powering the Hyundai Concept THREE is the Hyundai-Kia 800V EV platform, allowing fast charging and extended driving range. The production-spec Ioniq 3 will be the first small EV from Hyundai to be based on this platform, which till now has been limited to Hyundai's larger Ioniq EV models.
The Hyundai Concept THREE follows the firm's "Art of Steel" design philosophy..The anodised-style exterior paint is paired with lemon-tinted glass and wheels, creating a striking contrast while also reinforcing the Ioniq family identity.

The Hyundai Concept THREE features a "Aero Hatch" profile. The sleek roofline of the Concept THREE tapers into a ducktail spoiler, enhancing aerodynamic efficiency while retaining everyday usability. Hyundai's signature Parametric Pixel lights are reinterpreted in a new gradient design, adding depth and three-dimensionality to the light signature.
Inside, the Hyundai Concept THREE adopts a minimalist approach. Traditional wide displays are replaced with modular "briquettes" that deliver key information. The dashboard integrates "Bring Your Own Lifestyle" widgets and Mr. Pix, a playful animated companion designed to make digital interactions more personal.

Sustainability remains central to the cabin of the Concept THREE. The electric hatch uses Ocean-waste textiles, lightweight aluminium foam, while soft Moonbeam Yellow accents combine with grey tones to create a warm, eco-conscious interior.
The Hyundai Concept THREE combines aerodynamic design, sustainable interiors, and the firm's 800V EV platform in a compact hatchback package. As the clearest preview yet of the upcoming Ioniq 3, it highlights Hyundai's strategy to deliver affordable, practical EVs to Europe, where hatchbacks of this size are still rather popular. There is currently no news about the Ioniq 3 coming to India.
