Hyundai Aura SX Updated With New Features - Prices Hiked By ₹9,000
South Korean carmaker Hyundai has updated the SX trim of its Aura compact sedan with new features and revised its prices upward by ₹9,000. Prices for the Hyundai Aura SX now start at ₹8.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Aura SX now comes equipped with projector headlamps and a fully automatic temperature control (FATC) system. Both features were previously reserved for higher trims like the SX+ AMT and SX(O).
With the addition of these features, Hyundai has increased prices by ₹9,000 across both petrol and CNG variants of the SX trim. The updated ex-showroom Delhi prices are listed below:

Hyundai has retained key equipment from before for the Aura SX variants. The SX continues with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, a rear camera, a smart key with push-button start/stop, and 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
No changes have been made to the mechanical setup of the Hyundai Aura SX. It continues to be offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 83hp and 114Nm of torque. The CNG version of the Aura SX also remains available with the same 1.2-litre unit, delivering 69hp and 95Nm. Both petrol and CNG SX trims are paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.
The Aura SX sits just below the top-end SX(O) and above the lower S and E trims. With the added features, Hyundai has positioned it as a practical choice for customers seeking more equipment than the entry variants, without stretching their budgets to buy the top-spec model on offer.
The changes ensure that the Aura SX remains competitive within the compact sedan category. The inclusion of projector headlamps should improve visibility of the road ahead at night, while automatic climate control will ensure comfort during long drives and daily commutes. Overall,for the features added the ₹9,000 hike seems like a bargain.
