Hyundai Aura S AMT Launched In India At Rs 8.07 Lakh - A More Affordable Automatic
Korean carmaker Hyundai has expanded its Hyundai Aura lineup with the launch of a new automatic variant, the Aura S AMT. This new Hyundai Aura S AMT is priced at Rs. 8.07 lakh (ex-showroom, India), but it also introduces the convenience of an automatic transmission to a broader audience.
The decision to offer the S AMT variant brings the starting price of Aura's automatic options down by Rs 87,000 compared to its previously available higher-spec SX+ variant equipped with the 5-speed unit.

The Hyundai Aura S AMT is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, identical to the one found across other versions of this sub-4-metre compact sedan. This engine is capable of generating 82bhp and 114Nm of peak torque, ensuring a blend of performance and efficiency.
New Features and Enhancements
Hyundai has equipped the Aura S AMT with a variety of safety and convenience features, some of which are upgrades over the S MT variant. Noteworthy among these is the inclusion of electronic stability control (ESC) and hill-start assist, features aimed at improving the vehicle's safety and drivability on challenging terrains. Additionally, the Aura S AMT steps up its convenience game with auto-folding wing mirrors that include integrated turn indicators, further enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
The comprehensive feature list of the Aura S AMT variant doesn't stop there. It also boasts a tyre pressure monitor and six airbags for improved safety. For added comfort and convenience, the variant comes equipped with remote central locking, a rear defogger, follow-me-home headlights, and LED Daytime Running Lamps.
The Aura S AMT's practicality is enhanced with 15-inch steel wheels with covers, a rear centre armrest and AC vent, and a 2-DIN audio system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Steering-mounted audio controls, four speakers, power windows, and front and rear 12V charging ports round off the extensive list of features, making the Aura S AMT a well-equipped option in its segment.
