Hyundai Motor America Reveals Ambitious 2025 IMSA Racing Programme Featuring Seven Elantra N TCR Entries

Hyundai Motor America is gearing up for the 2025 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC) season, aiming to secure a sixth consecutive Manufacturers’ Championship title. The company will field seven Hyundai Elantra N TCR cars, collaborating with Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA), Victor Gonzalez Racing, and the newly introduced Pegram Racing team.

Mark Wilkins and Bryson Morris will return to drive the No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR for BHA. Meanwhile, Harry Gottsacker and Mason Filippi will team up in the No. 98 car. Denis Dupont and Preston Brown are also set to continue their partnership in the No. 76 vehicle for BHA.

The 2025 season introduces Pegram Racing, featuring Larry and Riley Pegram, a father-daughter duo making their series debut in the No. 72 Hyundai Elantra N TCR. Larry Pegram brings extensive experience from motorcycle racing, while Riley offers fresh enthusiasm and talent.

Maddie Aust and Suellio Almeida will debut in the No. 9 Hyundai Elantra N TCR for BHA. Aust is known for her SRO racing background, while Almeida was crowned the 2024 Radical North America Champion.

Victor Gonzalez Racing will field two entries: Tyler Gonzalez and Eric Powell will drive the No. 99 car, while Lance Bergstein and Jon Miller will pilot the No. 18 vehicle. This marks their third year of collaboration with BHA.

Bryan Herta Autosport plans to unveil its new Elantra N TCR cars at Daytona International Speedway with a striking livery design featuring Performance Blue and an alternate bold black design accented with Performance Blue highlights.

Commitment to Community Support

In support of pediatric cancer research, Hyundai Motor North America donated $100 per lap led by a Hyundai vehicle last season, raising over $38,000 for Hyundai Hope on Wheels. This initiative continues into 2025 with similar contributions planned for each race.

The upcoming season kicks off with five testing sessions at Roar Before the Rolex 24 from January 17-19, followed by the BMW M Endurance Challenge at Daytona on January 24.
