Honda Unveils Key Updates For XL750 Transalp And NC750X DCT In 2025 Model Year
American Honda has announced the return of two notable motorcycles for 2025: the XL750 Transalp and the NC750X DCT. These models, both part of the adventure category, have been updated to enhance their appeal. The XL750 Transalp is known for its agility and compact design, making it ideal for various terrains. For 2025, it features improvements in comfort and convenience, including better aerodynamics and suspension.
The NC750X DCT, a favourite among U.S. riders for commuting and weekend trips, also sees updates in styling, lighting, and braking. Colin Miller from American Honda stated that these bikes showcase Honda's ability to meet diverse customer needs. "The XL750 Transalp and NC750X DCT demonstrate Honda's ability to appeal to the varying needs of powersports enthusiasts," he said.
The XL750 Transalp now includes a central duct for improved aerodynamics, a new screen for airflow management, dual-projector headlights, and a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity via Honda RoadSync. It will be available in White and Deep Pearl Gray from June at an MSRP of $9,999.
Meanwhile, the NC750X DCT offers refreshed styling and lighter wheels. Its Dual Clutch Transmission has evolved alongside a better TFT display. This model is available in Matte Pearl White starting May with an MSRP of $9,499.
In addition to these adventure bikes, nine CRF Performance models are confirmed for 2026. These include the CRF450X known for its Baja victories and versatility in off-road parks. It features trail-ready elements like an 18-inch rear wheel and six-speed transmission.
The CRF450RWE is inspired by factory Honda HRC Progressive machines and offers top-tier components straight from team partners. Available in October at $12,599, this model is designed as a race-ready motocross machine.
Motocross Excellence
The CRF450R combines advanced technology with unmatched performance thanks to input from riders like Jett Lawrence. Known for its power and durability, it's priced at $9,699 and will be available in July.
The CRF250RWE builds on the CRF250R platform with enhancements directly from factory partners. This quarter-liter bike offers exceptional handling and power at $10,699 from October.
Trail-Ready Machines
The CRF450RX blends motocross performance with trail-specific features like handguards and dedicated suspension settings. It's popular among teams such as SLR Honda and Phoenix Racing Honda.
The CRF250RX is tailored for closed-course off-road races like WORCS and GNCC. Trusted by teams across the country, it will be available in July at $8,699.
Youth-Focused Options
For younger riders aiming to improve their skills, the CRF150R offers a Unicam four-stroke engine with Showa suspension. Available in standard or Expert versions for taller riders, prices start at $5,499 in September.
Honda continues to innovate within powersports by offering battery-electric products alongside traditional models built in America using domestic and global parts. Their commitment remains strong after over six decades of setting industry standards through pioneering designs.
