Honda Marine Honoured With 2024 Customer Satisfaction Index Award From NMMA For Outboard Engines
The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) has once again recognised Honda Marine for its outstanding customer satisfaction in outboard engines. This marks the 22nd year in a row that Honda Marine, part of Honda Power Sports & Products, has received the prestigious 2024 Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award. The award highlights Honda's commitment to quality and reliability in its marine products.
Honda Marine offers a wide range of outboard motors, from 2.3 to 350 horsepower, all powered by four-stroke engines. These engines are known for their fuel efficiency, quiet operation, and low emissions. For over six decades, Honda has been at the forefront of four-stroke engine technology, setting industry standards. The durability and reliability of these outboards are comparable to Honda's renowned automobiles.
The NMMA presented the 2024 CSI award on February 13 during a breakfast event at the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show. This accolade is based on customer satisfaction ratings for outboard engines. Companies receiving this award have maintained a satisfaction level of 90% or higher over the past year through independent surveys.
The NMMA's Marine Industry CSI program provides a consistent measure of customer satisfaction across various boats, engines, and dealers in the recreational marine sector. It allows manufacturers and dealers to assess customer satisfaction with their products and services and compare these rates across different segments of recreational boating.
Honda Marine recently introduced several new products that enhance performance and ease of use. These include the all-new Honda BF350 high-power V8 outboard, which is the first commercially available V8 engine from Honda. Additionally, enhancements have been made to high-power models like BF115, BF140, BF150 inline four (L4), and BF200, BF225, BF250 V6 models to improve durability and simplify installation.
The McLaren Performance M300 marine outboard is another notable launch from Honda Marine. This product results from a collaboration between McLaren Engineering and Honda Marine, showcasing technical excellence inspired by performance.
