Honda Achieves Eight Consecutive Wins In NTT INDYCAR Series At Road America 2025

Honda has achieved an impressive milestone in the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES, securing its eighth consecutive victory at World Wide Technology Raceway. This win marks the longest streak by an engine manufacturer since 2012, surpassing Chevrolet's seven-win record from 2016. Honda's victories span all four primary circuit types: road courses, street circuits, speedways, and short ovals.

Alex Palou and Kyle Kirkwood are the only drivers to have claimed victories this season. Palou leads the championship with a 73-point advantage, having won at St. Petersburg, the Thermal Club, Barber Motorsports Park, the Indy GP, and the Indianapolis 500. Kirkwood is third in the standings after winning at Long Beach and Detroit, as well as last weekend's race at WWTR.

Honda's Winning Streak Continues at Road America

Honda's history at Road America is notable, with nine wins starting from Alex Zanardi's triumph in 1997. Other winners include Dario Franchitti in 1998 and Scott Dixon in both 2017 and 2020. Alexander Rossi secured a victory in 2019, while Felix Rosenqvist won in 2020. Palou added to this legacy with wins in 2021 and 2023.

Kirkwood has yet to secure a road course victory in IndyCar but has previously won at Road America during his rise through racing ranks. Meanwhile, Palou has already tasted success here twice before.

The current standings see Honda leading by a significant margin of 148 points over its competitors. The manufacturer's lineup includes notable drivers such as Colton Herta for Andretti Global and Scott Dixon for Chip Ganassi Racing.

The lineup also features Marcus Ericsson and Rinus VeeKay among others. These drivers contribute to Honda's strong performance this season.
