Honda To Showcase Exciting New Vehicles And Experiences At Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2025
Honda is set to captivate audiences at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from 10-13 July. The event will feature a showcase of its diverse product range, including European debuts for the Honda 0 SUV, Prelude, and Civic Type R Ultimate Edition. Additionally, a new all-electric urban concept vehicle, the Super EV Concept, will be unveiled. This festival highlights Honda's commitment to electrified innovation and carbon neutrality.
Visitors can enjoy interactive experiences at Honda's film-set-inspired stand. They can create their own film trailers with the Civic Type R on an extended reality stage. The stand also features mini movie studios where visitors can pose for AI-generated action movie posters or ride a Gold Wing motorcycle through scenic highways. The Honda 0 SUV prototype, fresh from its debut in Las Vegas, will make its European premiere.
Honda's motorcycle lineup will also be on display, featuring models like the EV Fun Concept and Urban EV Concept. These models were first shown at the EICMA motorcycle show in November 2024. The V3 motorcycle concept, the world's first with an electrical compressor, will take centre stage as part of Honda's 'Dream Tech' roadshow.
The festival celebrates 75 years of Formula 1, with Honda marking 60 years since its first F1 victory. The Williams FW11, powered by the Honda RA166E engine producing around 1,500 horsepower, will be driven by Nigel Mansell up the Hill. Ricky Brabec will ride his Dakar-winning CRF450 RALLY model to showcase Honda's motorsport success.
The Hillclimb event will feature dynamic runs from various models, including the Prelude and Civic Type R Ultimate Edition. A new all-electric urban concept vehicle, the Super EV Concept, will make its global debut. This small sporty model has undergone feasibility testing in the UK ahead of the event.
Celebrating Racing Legends
John McGuinness (MBE) will lead a heritage procession up the Hill on his CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP superbike. This marks his 100th start at the Isle of Man TT. Following him will be Honda's luxury touring motorcycle, the Gold Wing, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Koji Watanabe, President of Honda Racing Corporation, expressed excitement about showcasing Honda's motorsport heritage at Goodwood. "We always look forward to showcasing our storied motorsport heritage at the Goodwood Festival of Speed," he said. "This year is no different as we celebrate an icon of Honda’s success in F1 over the past 75 years – the Williams FW11."
Hans de Jaeger, Senior Vice President of Honda Motor Europe, highlighted their dynamic pan-brand showcase for European customers. "Our business is about more than our products alone," he stated. "I look forward to seeing everyone visiting us and experiencing our brand across the four days."
