Honda Elevate New Special Edition Teased - Red Accents, Brown Colourway

Japanese carmaker Honda is set to bring out a new special edition of the Elevate SUV . In a new teaser on its social handles, Honda Cars India teased a new special edition of its sole SUV, revealing an earthy brown paint scheme complemented by contrasting red highlights across the exterior panels.

The teaser also hints at what name this special edition Honda Elevate could adopt. The words "A bold companion for the explorer in you." are shown at the bottom of the teaser image, hinting that this could be the Honda Elevate Explore Edition.

On the outside, the teaser for the new Elecate Special Edition reveals red accents near the fog lamps, on the grille and select spokes of gloss-black alloy wheels. The chrome-lined headlamp connector appears to be blacked out, differentiating this new special edition from existing trims such as the Black Edition.

Within the cabin, the new special edition of the Honda Elecate may adopt a bold all-black theme with red ambient lighting replacing the existing black-and-ivory scheme. No major interior changes are expected beyond visual updates and possibly new edition-specific badging.

The upcoming special edition of the Honda Elevate will retain the same mechanical setup as the standard version of the SUV. The new variant of the Elevate will continue to use the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 119 hp and 145 Nm of torque, matched to either a six-speed manual or a seven-step CVT gearbox, both sending power to the front wheels.

Earlier updates and special edition versions of the Honda Elevate included a refreshed grille option and new interior trims, but those did not impact the drivetrain or core structure of the SUV. This forthcoming special edition of Honda's lone SUV for India continues that approach by offering a visual refresh without any mechanical changes. At present, the standard Elevate SUV in India starts at an ex-showroom price of around ₹11 lakh.
