Honda Elevate Black Edition SUV Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 15.51 Lakh
The Honda Elevate Black Edition has been introduced with a starting price of Rs 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom). This edition, along with the Elevate Signature Black Edition priced from Rs 15.71 lakh, is based on the top ZX trim. Both versions offer manual and CVT automatic gearbox options. Notably, there are no mechanical changes in these editions.
Honda continues to offer the Elevate Apex edition, which was launched last year. The Black Edition features an all-black interior and exterior, maintaining the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as the standard SUV. The CVT automatic variants come at an additional cost of Rs 20,000.

Honda Elevate Black Edition Features
The Elevate Black Edition boasts a Crystal Black Pearl exterior paint with matching interiors and alloy wheels. The manual version is priced at Rs 15.51 lakh, while the CVT variant costs Rs 16.73 lakh. It includes silver accents on the doors' lower parts, upper grille, and roof rails.
In contrast, the Elevate Signature Black Edition replaces all silver elements with black finishes and adds a seven-colour ambient interior lighting package. This edition is available for Rs 15.71 lakh for the manual and Rs 16.93 lakh for the CVT.
Standard Features and Competition
Both editions borrow features from the standard Elevate SUV such as six airbags, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, leatherette seating, a single-pane sunroof, camera-based ADAS, auto headlights and wipers, a semi-analogue instrument cluster and a 7-inch TFT display.
The Honda Elevate Black Edition competes with models like Hyundai Creta Knight Edition, MG Astor Blackstorm, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara black edition. The standard Honda Elevate faces tough competition from Creta, Seltos, Grand Vitara, Hyryder, Kushaq and Taigun.
Market Performance
Hyundai's midsize SUV leads this segment with impressive monthly sales of around 15,000 units. In comparison, Honda's midsize SUV sales have not met expectations so far. Dealers have informed that the Elevate Black Edition will be available in showrooms by next week for potential buyers to view.
