Honda Elevate Apex Summer Edition Launched At Rs 12.39 Lakh
Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has launched the Elevate Apex Summer Edition to help rejuvenate its position in the Indian car market. Amidst declining sales figures, this move aims to attract buyers with a blend of enhanced features and an appealing price point.
Honda has launched the Elevate Apex Summer Edition with an introductory price starting of Rs 12.39 lakh for the manual and Rs 13.59 for the CVT version (all prices are ex-showroom). The Summer Edition of Elevate Apex builds upon the Apex Edition launched in September 2024, which was available in V and VX trims, with prices ranging from Rs 12.86 lakh for the V MT Apex Edition to Rs 15.25 lakh for the VX CVT Apex Edition variant. The Summer Edition not only retains the hallmark Apex Edition badges and cosmetic enhancements but also introduces a few notable upgrades.

One of the standout features of the Honda Elevate Apex Summer Edition is the introduction of a larger 9-inch infotainment screen, an upgrade from the 8-inch unit found in the V trim. This new screen supports a 360-degree camera, marking a first for any Honda vehicle currently available in the market. While many anticipated ventilated seats to become a standard feature with the "Summer" nomenclature, HCIL has chosen to keep them as an optional accessory, focusing instead on enhancing the tech and convenience aspects of the Elevate.
Interior-wise, the Apex Summer Edition maintains its appeal with Ivory and Black dual-tone interiors, complemented by Ivory leatherette seat upholstery and soft-touch elements on the dashboard and door panels. The addition of a 360-degree camera and a larger infotainment screen to the V trim enhances the vehicle's appeal, offering a more immersive and convenient driving experience.

Under the hood, the Honda Elevate Apex Summer Edition is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 119 bhp and 145 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT. The Elevate Sumeer Edition continues to offer a ground clearance of 220 mm and a spacious 458 litre.
Another significant update is the introduction of Government approved CNG retrofit kits, which HCIL is offering with the Amaze and Elevate models. This option is expected to be available for the Elevate Apex Summer Edition as well, catering to the growing demand for eco-friendly and cost-effective driving solutions. The CNG retrofit kit represents HCIL's commitment to sustainable mobility and broadens the appeal of the Elevate among environmentally conscious consumers.
Through the introduction of the Apex Summer Edition, HCIL is not only enhancing the product offering of the Elevate but also strategically positioning it to captivate a wider audience. With its improved features, attractive pricing, and the addition of eco-friendly options like the CNG retrofit kit, the Honda Elevate Apex Summer Edition is poised to make a significant impact in the Indian automobile market.
