2026 Honda CR-V TrailSport Hybrid Launches With Rugged Design And Advanced Technology Features
The 2026 Honda CR-V, featuring the new TrailSport Hybrid, is now available at dealerships. This model introduces rugged styling and enhanced capabilities to Honda's most popular vehicle. The CR-V lineup includes four hybrid-electric trims and three turbocharged options. The starting price for the CR-V LX 2WD is $30,920, excluding a $1,395 destination charge.
Honda's electrification strategy is evident in the CR-V lineup, with hybrid models making up over half of its sales. The CR-V has been America's top-selling CUV for 28 years, achieving record sales of over 400,000 units last year. Since 2017, it has been Honda's best-selling vehicle annually.
The 2026 CR-V offers more standard technology than ever before. All models come with a larger 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and wireless phone charging. Higher trims feature a 10.2-inch digital instrument display with customizable settings.
The TrailSport Hybrid trim stands out with its rugged design elements like a silver skid garnish and unique wheels. It also features all-terrain tires for improved off-road performance while maintaining comfort on paved roads.
All CR-V Hybrids are produced at Honda’s East Liberty Plant in Ohio and Indiana Auto Plant. The TrailSport Hybrid is exclusively built in Indiana. The MSRP for this model is $38,800. The hybrid-electric models are crucial to Honda's strategy as they now account for about 30% of all brand sales.

Safety and Performance
The sixth-generation CR-V excels in safety with the Honda Sensing suite of technologies and next-gen airbag systems standard across all models. Its hybrid trims use a powerful two-motor system delivering 204 horsepower and excellent fuel efficiency.
Honda continues to lead in compact SUV safety features with its Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure standard on all models. This ensures enhanced protection for occupants during collisions.
Honda has been manufacturing vehicles in America for over four decades, with eight major facilities currently operating there. In 2024, nearly all Honda vehicles sold in the U.S. were made in North America using both domestic and global parts.
The introduction of the first-ever hybrid-electric TrailSport model adds more capability to the CR-V lineup while maintaining its class-leading dynamics on-road. This model includes exclusive styling touches like orange badges on the grille and tailgate.
