Honda Cars Get Huge Price Cut After GST 2.0: Customers Can Save Up To Rs 1.2 Lakh

Honda Cars India has announced significant price reductions across its entire line-up following the implementation of GST 2.0. The updated prices apply to the Amaze, Elevate, and City models, and will remain in effect until December 2025. These revisions make Honda's popular sedans and SUVs more accessible to buyers, with savings ranging from Rs 42,000 to Rs 1.2 lakh depending on the model and variant.

Honda Amaze

The Honda Amaze, now available entirely under Rs 10 lakh, has seen the largest price cuts. The second-gen Amaze-sold only in S trim-has dropped by Rs 72,800 for the CVT variant and Rs 65,100 for the manual. The third-gen Amaze benefits even more, with the entry-level V MT now costing Rs 69,100 less than before, and the top-spec ZX CVT down by a massive Rs 1.2 lakh. These reductions position the Amaze as one of the most value-packed compact sedans on the market.

Honda Elevate

Honda's midsize SUV, the Elevate, now starts at Rs 11 lakh and goes up to Rs 16.25 lakh. The price drop across its variants varies from Rs 42,800 for the V MT to Rs 91,100 for the SV MT. Even the feature-rich ZX CVT Dual Tone Ivory edition is now Rs 58,400 cheaper. These changes make the Elevate more competitive in the crowded midsize SUV segment, especially for buyers eyeing higher trims with premium features.

The Honda City, including its hybrid e:HEV variant, also receives notable price cuts. The midsize sedan now starts at Rs 11.95 lakh, with reductions ranging between Rs 42,000 and Rs 57,500. The largest drop applies to the top-spec ZX CVT, while the entry-level SV MT is now Rs 42,700 cheaper. Even the City e:HEV hybrid benefits, with its price reduced by Rs 41,790 to Rs 19.48 lakh. These revisions make the City an even more attractive choice for sedan buyers seeking premium features and hybrid efficiency.
