Honda Amaze (3rd Gen) Gets 5-Star Safety Rating From Bharat NCAP
Bharat NCAP has awarded the Honda Amaze an overall 5-star safety rating. This score is applicable to the third-gen Honda Amaze built from November 2025 and covers all variants of the compact sedan.
The new Honda Amaze got an Adult Occupant Protection score of 28.33 out of 32, which resulted in the sedan gaining a 5-star rating for adult protection. In the Child Occupant Protection tests, the Honda Amaze got a 4-star rating, getting a score of 40.81 out of 49.

For adult protection, Bharat NCAP awarded the Amazr 14.33 points out of 16 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test and 14.00 points out of 16 in the side movable deformable barrier test. The side pole impact test is marked as "OK", confirming compliance with requirements for a five-star outcome.
The child occupant protection total of 40.81 points is split into three components. Dynamic testing with child restraints contributes 23.81 points out of 24. CRS installation assessment adds the full 12.00 points out of 12, and vehicle assessment parameters account for 5.00 points out of a possible 13.

Dynamic performance figures show the 18-month-old dummy scoring 7.81 out of 8 in the frontal test and 4.00 out of 4 in the side test. The three-year-old dummy records 8.00 out of 8 in the frontal test and 4.00 out of 4 in the side test.
Both child dummies were seated in rearward-facing i-Size ISOFIX child restraint systems using leg support, positioned on the rear outboard seats. Bharat NCAP's checks confirmed that the Amaze allows correct fitment of the recommended CRS types in the evaluated seating positions.

Standard frontal crash protection equipment on the Amaze includes driver and passenger front airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters. Knee airbags are not available. Side crash protection equipment consists of curtain airbags for the driver, front passenger and rear occupants, and side chest airbags for the driver and front passenger. There are no separate thorax-head or side pelvis airbags listed in the equipment sheet for any seating position.
Child protection hardware on the Amaze includes ISOFIX anchorages on the rear outboard seats. There is no integrated child restraint system and no airbag cut-off switch listed for the front passenger seat. These details are reflected in the child occupant and vehicle assessment scoring.
Other Safety technologies fitted as standard include electronic stability control, pedestrian protection compliant with AIS-100 and seatbelt reminders for front and rear occupants. Bharat NCAP also highlights that these safety-assist features, along with side head protection and ESC, are standard across all rated Amaze 3rd Gen variants.
