H&H Auctions' Buxton Peaks Sale Showcases Over 130 Coveted Classic Cars
H&H Auctions is set to host 'The Peaks Sale' in Buxton on 21st May. Over 130 lots, valued at more than £3 million, will be auctioned. The oldest item is a 1923 Wolseley 10 E3 Four-Seat Tourer, while the most valuable is a 1960 Maserati 3500 GT, estimated between £140,000 and £160,000.
Among the standout items is a meticulously restored 1960 Maserati 3500 GT. This car is expected to fetch between £140,000 and £160,000. It stands out not only for its beauty but also because fewer than 2,000 Coupes were made over seven years. The vehicle has seen minimal use since its engine was fully overhauled.
The auction will feature a rare 1962 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL with an estimated value of £60,000 to £80,000. This model is one of only 562 right-hand drive versions produced. It has undergone a complete engine overhaul and has been under long-term ownership.
A notable inclusion is the low-mileage 1997 Bentley Azure. With less than 11,000 miles on the odometer, it averages just 357 miles annually. Estimated at £65,000 to £75,000, this Bentley has been maintained without regard to cost and represents top quality in its class.
The auction will also showcase ten cars from the 'Loch Lomond Collection.' These vehicles from the '50s to '70s were selected by a collector who prioritised condition in his choices.
Another highlight is the rare 1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo ‘40th Anniversary.’ Only 40 were made for the UK market. This model could sell for between £20,000 and £30,000. Known for its distinct style, it epitomises iconic British sports cars of the '80s.
