Gunther Werks Unveils GW9 Brand With New Porsche 992.1 Turbo S Carbon Fiber Aero Package
Gunther Werks has introduced its latest Porsche 992.1 Turbo S Aero Package under the new brand, GW9. This package, developed in collaboration with Vorsteiner, aims to enhance both the aerodynamic performance and visual appeal of the vehicle. The package includes eight carbon-fiber components designed to improve downforce and airflow while maintaining a factory-grade fit and finish.
The Aero Package features several key components. The Aero Rear Wing is crafted to boost stability at high speeds, enhancing aerodynamic efficiency while adding a striking look. The Aero Rear Diffuser is specifically designed to improve aerodynamic balance and minimise rear-end lift. Additionally, the Aero Side Skirts contribute to better aerodynamics and aesthetics.
Other components include the Aero Side Intake Trim, which enhances airflow into the factory intake system, and the Aero Front Intake Trim that gives the front a sharper appearance. The Aero Front Spoiler with Winglets is engineered to increase downforce on the front end, while the Aero Front Spoiler Winglets focus on both performance and style.
The components are made from aerospace-grade carbon fiber using autoclave technology. This method results in a 20-30% increase in stiffness and strength compared to traditional carbon fiber materials. Each part integrates seamlessly with OEM mounting points, complementing the signature contours of the 992.1 Turbo S for improved high-speed stability and aerodynamic efficiency.
