Milltek Performance Exhaust Enhances Sound Of Defender OCTA V8 At Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2025
Milltek is set to unveil its new performance exhaust system for the Land Rover Defender OCTA at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from 10 to 13 July 2025. This system aims to enhance the sound of the vehicle's V8 engine. The exhaust, a gasoline particulate filter-back twin 80mm system, uses larger original equipment valves while maintaining valve control, ensuring no impact on emissions.
The Milltek exhaust system offers a visual and auditory upgrade for the Defender OCTA’s 635hp twin-turbo V8 engine. It features a reflective rear silencer design without a centre resonator. Buyers can choose optional GT100 exhaust tips in polished black, brushed titanium, or burnt titanium finishes. Alternatively, they can retain the original exhaust tips for a more understated appearance.
Milltek's stand at the festival will also showcase new exhaust systems for high-performance hybrid models from BMW and Porsche. These include the latest BMW M5 G90 and Porsche 992 Carrera. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase these exhausts along with Milltek merchandise such as hats, hoodies, wall art, and accessories directly from their stand.
Founded in 1983 in the UK by an avid car enthusiast, Milltek has grown into a leading global manufacturer of performance exhaust systems. With headquarters in Derby, UK, and facilities near Germany’s Nürburgring race circuit and in Tennessee, USA, Milltek designs and tests its products using advanced equipment. The company caters to both modern performance vehicles and classic cars from past decades.
Kev Hall, Technical Operations Manager at Milltek, expressed excitement about their participation at Goodwood: "This is the 20th year we’ve been at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and I think it’s going to be our best ever with exciting new cars and the biggest range of products to show performance car fans visiting." He added that developing the Defender OCTA was one of their most interesting projects.
