GMC Introduces The 2026 Acadia Denali Ultimate With Enhanced Features And Performance
The 2026 Acadia is the latest addition to GMC's range of trucks and SUVs, now featuring the luxurious Denali Ultimate trim. This new option enhances the mid-size SUV's offerings. "Denali Ultimate represents the pinnacle of premium expression for the GMC brand, delivering an innovative mixture of stunning craftsmanship and real-world capability," says Jaclyn McQuaid, global vice president, Buick and GMC.
All trims of the 2026 Acadia come with a standard Rear Camera Mirror. This feature allows drivers to switch between a traditional mirror view and a camera view for better visibility. Safety is a key focus, with over 19 standard safety and driver assistance features included in the vehicle.
The exterior of the 2026 GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate stands out with its unique Vader Chrome grille and GMC logo. It also includes LED daytime running lamps with animated lighting sequences, exclusive badging, and 22-inch machined aluminum wheels finished in After Midnight Metallic. Inside, heated and ventilated Woodland Mahogany leather seats offer comfort with massaging functions.
Additional interior highlights include Paldao wood accents with laser-etched details and embossed topographical maps on seat backs, door trim, and map pockets. Unique floor mats and Denali Ultimate badging further distinguish this model from others in its class.
The Acadia Denali Ultimate comes equipped with advanced technology features like a Bose 16-Speaker Performance Series Sound System. It also includes Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology, which comes with a three-year OnStar One Super Cruise plan. The vehicle offers nine camera views, including HD Surround Vision and a Rear Camera Mirror.
A panoramic sunroof adds to the luxury experience, while an AutoSense Power Liftgate provides convenience. The performance suspension ensures a smooth ride by balancing handling and isolating road impacts effectively.
Engine Specifications
The 2026 GMC Acadia is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, it offers a maximum towing capacity of up to 5,000 lbs., making it suitable for various driving needs.
Customers can choose from up to six selectable drive modes to optimize performance based on driving conditions or personal preferences. This flexibility enhances the driving experience across different terrains.
Availability
The production of the 2026 GMC Acadia will take place at Lansing Delta Township Assembly. It is expected to arrive at dealerships starting in the third quarter of 2025. The Denali Ultimate trim will be available later in the year.
