Glen Powell Reimagines Goldilocks In Ram Brand's Big Game Commercial Featuring New Trucks
Stellantis stands out as the sole automaker with commercials in this year's Big Game. The Ram brand has unveiled a 60-second film starring actor Glen Powell, directed by David Leitch. This commercial humorously reimagines "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" with a twist, featuring Ram trucks, dragons, volcanoes, and bears. The campaign highlights the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger, Ram 2500 Rebel, and Ram 1500 RHO.
The film titled "Drive Your Own Story" showcases the freedom of choice for truck buyers. It emphasises options ranging from gas-powered to battery-powered and heavy-duty vehicles. Glen Powell is familiar with the Ram brand, having previously participated in campaigns like "The Calling" and "Twisters." The commercial is soundtracked by Van Halen's classic "Panama."
Olivier Francois from Stellantis stated, "The wealth of Stellantis is the ability of our wide array of iconic brands to address any customer needs in their different life stages." He likened their approach to Goldilocks finding what’s ‘just right’ among various options. This metaphor underscores the versatility of Ram trucks.
Powell expressed his enthusiasm for being part of this Super Bowl spot. "I spent most of the 'Twisters' shoot in a Ram truck and it just felt right," he said. He appreciated working with director David Leitch and involving his family in the ad, making it a personal experience.
Director David Leitch aimed to give a bold twist to a classic tale, aligning with Ram's innovative spirit. "Glen Powell brings the perfect mix of charm, toughness and humor to our modern-day Goldilocks story," he noted. The commercial combines adventure with cinematic magic.
Ram is offering merchandise related to the Big Game commercial on their website. Items include stuffed dragons and bears, T-shirts, hoodies, blankets, and dragon-wing hot sauce. These products celebrate the playful theme of the advertisement.
Expanding Product Lineup
The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger will be available for orders in the second quarter of this year. Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Ram Brand, highlighted that customers have diverse choices between electric and gasoline-powered vehicles. "We always want to offer our truck-buyers options," he said.
The extended 90-second version of "Drive Your Own Story" can be viewed on YouTube. This longer cut provides more insight into Powell’s adventurous narrative involving dragons and volcanoes while showcasing different Ram models.

Ram continues to lead in key areas for truck buyers such as torque and luxury features. The brand offers a wide range of pickups including off-road performance models like the new Ram 1500 RHO. Their commercial offerings are expanding under Stellantis Pro One’s global presence.
