Genesis Extends Title Sponsorship Of Genesis Scottish Open Through 2030
Genesis has announced it will continue as the title sponsor of the Genesis Scottish Open until 2030. This agreement with DP World Tour and PGA TOUR extends Genesis' commitment to this historic event, which became a co-sanctioned tournament in 2022. The Renaissance Club in North Berwick will host the event, where Robert MacIntyre will defend his title on July 10.
The Genesis Scottish Open, established in 1972, has been a key part of the DP World Tour since 1986. It is both a FedExCup event and part of the Rolex Series on the Race to Dubai. The tournament features players from both the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour, with additional spots for Korean Professional Golf Association players.

He emphasized that renewing their sponsorship through 2030 aligns with their dedication to golf and its global communities.
Genesis has been involved with the PGA TOUR since 2016 when it became the title sponsor of The Genesis Invitational. This partnership expanded in 2022 with the addition of the Genesis Scottish Open as a co-sanctioned event by both tours. The brand also supports other tournaments like the Genesis Championship in Korea.
PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan expressed pride in continuing their relationship with Genesis. He highlighted how Scotland's national open has reached new heights following MacIntyre's win last season. Monahan looks forward to further elevating this premier event globally alongside their partners at DP World Tour.

The PGA TOUR and Genesis recently announced a Global Official Marketing Partnership naming Genesis as the Official Vehicle of both PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions. This partnership also includes sponsoring the World Feed, promoting international stars on tour.
The Renaissance Club has hosted several notable champions since becoming a co-sanctioned event venue. Winners include Rory McIlroy (2023), Xander Schauffele (2022), Min Woo Lee (2021), and Aaron Rai (2020). These victories highlight its significance within professional golf circles worldwide.
