Genesis Motor America Appoints Amy Marentic As New Chief Marketing Officer To Enhance Brand Strategy

Amy Marentic has been appointed as the chief marketing officer for Genesis Motor America. In her new role, she will lead the marketing strategy in the U.S., aiming to boost brand awareness, sales, and market share. Reporting to Tedros Mengiste, COO of Genesis Motor North America, Marentic will oversee all marketing activities across the country.

Marentic brings over 25 years of experience in global automotive and mobility sectors. Her expertise spans marketing, sales, product and brand strategy, management, and technology. Previously, she served as president of global solutions at Circana. There, she worked with advertisers and agencies to optimize media spending and enhance revenue growth.

Genesis Motor America Names Amy Marentic CMO

In her capacity as CMO, Marentic will guide the U.S. marketing division in crafting and executing consumer-focused messages. Her responsibilities include developing strategic business plans for national and regional advertising. She will also manage multicultural, experiential, digital marketing efforts, CRM initiatives, and the brand's online presence.

Marentic's role extends to supporting Genesis' expanding network of standalone retail facilities through local marketing initiatives. Her extensive background includes a tenure at Google as global automotive director. At Google, she played a pivotal role in advancing digital transformation and significantly increased ad revenue.

Genesis is a burgeoning global automotive brand known for its design excellence, safety standards, refined performance, and innovation. Marentic's Background

Before joining Genesis, Marentic held several leadership roles during her long career at Ford Motor Company. She was general manager for Ford Icons business which included brands like Bronco and Mustang. Additionally, she served as President of Lincoln Asia Pacific.

Her industry-wide recognition stems from her excellence in product development and innovative marketing strategies. Marentic holds a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and a master's degree in industrial and manufacturing engineering from the University of Michigan.
