Genesis Celebrates The Launch Of TGL's Inaugural Season Presented By SoFi With Exciting Matches
The TGL season officially begins at the SoFi Center, featuring 20 matches from January 7 to March 25, 2025. Genesis is one of the founding partners and serves as the official automotive partner of TGL. The first match between New York Golf Club and The Bay Golf Club will be broadcast live on ESPN and ESPN+ at 9:00 pm ET.

TGL, led by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, introduces a fresh approach to professional golf by integrating advanced technology into a unique team format. This partnership signifies a new chapter for Genesis in its dedication to golf. It complements their existing sponsorships like the Genesis Invitational, Scottish Open, and Championship.
The inaugural season of TGL will unfold over ten weeks with six teams competing across the United States. Matches will take place in a specially designed 250,000 square-foot arena at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens. The final match is set for March 25, with teams vying for a $21 million prize pool.
Each team consists of world-class PGA TOUR golfers. Matches combine virtual play with real-time golf. Longer shots are aimed at a massive screen while shorter shots are played on a dynamic short game area. This area features rotating greens and bunkers to challenge players' skills.
The course includes 15 out of 30 custom-designed holes crafted by renowned architects. Matches are divided into two sessions: nine holes of Triples—where three players alternate shots—and six holes of Singles matches. Each hole offers one point to the team with fewer shots.
