Genesis Inspiration Foundation Champions STEAM And Arts Education Initiatives In Southern California
Genesis and the Genesis Inspiration Foundation are making strides in supporting youth education in Southern California. They recently donated $100,000 to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, a nonprofit that uses dance and theater to enrich students' lives. Additionally, Genesis hosted a STEAM workshop for young students at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley, aiming to inspire creativity and learning.
The Genesis Inspiration Foundation is dedicated to enhancing educational outcomes by providing access to arts programs for children in under-resourced areas. Since its inception in 2018, it has granted over $13 million to support youth arts initiatives nationwide. The foundation's mission aligns with Genesis's commitment to fostering creativity and innovation among young learners.
Genesis Gives is a corporate social responsibility program from Genesis Motor America. It focuses on improving access to youth sports and STEAM education in underserved communities. Since 2022, Genesis has contributed over $2 million to various community support efforts across the United States.
Brandon Ramirez, director of corporate social responsibility at Genesis Motor America, stated, "At Genesis, we believe in the power of creativity." He emphasized their dedication to opening doors for students to explore their passions and unlock their potential both inside and outside the classroom.
The Debbie Allen Dance Academy offers a diverse dance curriculum for students aged four and above. The recent grant from Genesis will support programs ranging from ballet and hip hop to modern dance and musical theater. These initiatives aim to empower students by encouraging them to discover their artistic talents.
In collaboration with Child Creativity Lab, Genesis organized a hands-on STEAM workshop for nearly 50 elementary and middle school students at Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley. Participants learned about product development processes and witnessed an advanced technology demonstration featuring an electrified Genesis GV60.

The workshop inspired students to use upcycled materials creatively by designing their own future mobility vehicles. This activity aimed to ignite their imagination while teaching them about sustainable practices in vehicle design.
