Genesis Inspiration Foundation Invests In STEAM And Arts Education For Youth In Florida
Genesis and its charitable arm, Genesis Inspiration Foundation, have made significant contributions to youth education in Florida. They recently donated $50,000 to Breakthrough Miami, a group focused on closing the achievement gap in South Florida. Additionally, Genesis hosted a hands-on STEAM workshop at the Rita & Rick Case Club, part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.

The $50,000 grant from Genesis Inspiration Foundation will enhance Breakthrough Miami’s arts-focused education. This initiative engages 6th-grade Scholars in dynamic programming that fosters art appreciation and visual literacy. The program also promotes critical thinking, creative expression, and leadership development among students.
Breakthrough Miami supports 1,600 high-potential students from grades 5 through 12 each year. The organization offers an eight-year cost-free journey that includes summer institutes and school year programs. This funding will help advance arts learning across seven Breakthrough sites in South Florida.
At the Rita & Rick Case Club in Davie, Florida, Genesis hosted a STEAM workshop led by Child Creativity Lab for middle and high school students. Participants learned about product development processes and saw an advanced technology demonstration of an electrified Genesis vehicle made with recycled materials.
Students then designed and built their own future mobility vehicles using upcycled materials. This hands-on approach sparked curiosity and encouraged innovative thinking among participants. It aimed to inspire future innovators by combining education with practical experience.
Genesis Gives: Supporting Youth Education
Genesis Gives is a corporate social responsibility initiative from Genesis Motor America. It focuses on improving access to youth sports and STEAM education in under-resourced communities. Since 2022, Genesis has donated over $2 million to support various community initiatives across the country.
